Abstract

This study aims at analyzing the methodological delineation applied in studies which adopt the strategy as practice perspective regarding the Strategic Practice and Strategizing topics. To this end, review 77 theoretical-empirical articles from Brazil and overseas. Generally, it was noticed that the methodological delineation applied by the studies lines up with the adopted viewpoint. However, it also checked over some possible inadequacies between the aim of the study and the methodological delineation applied. The prevalence of researches with top-level actors also aroused attention, whereas other major strategists of the organization are disregarded. It still emphasizes, in a significant amount of articles, the lack of information concerning the methodological delineation of the researches. It is expected that this analysis may contribute, through a debate of the methodologies used in studies of the knowledge area and its adaptation to the tenets of this perspective, to the fulfillment of future researches within the approach of strategy as practice, as well as for the ripeness of this practice.
