We thank the Business Administration Masters and Doctorate Program of  Universidade Positivo and the Information Systems Academic Department of Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná for the contribution of Professor Alexandre Reis Graeml as our current chief editor. We also thank  Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina for the contribution of Jorge M. Barreto (chief editor for the period 2006-2007) and Nelkis de la Orden Medina, who was ahead of the journal since its settlement in 2002 and until 2005. Thanks to the dedication of these people, this journal has grown to become one of the most important means for the publication of Information Systems academic work in Latin America.
