Prof. Luis Joia, from Ebape-FGV, in Brazil, and Robert Davison, editor of EJISDC (Electronic Journal on Information Systems in Developing Countries) coordinated a panel entitled "PUBLISHING IS RESEARCH IN AND ABOUT LATIN AMERICA", in AMCIS recent congress, which happened in Lima. Alexandre R. Graeml, RESI's editor was invited to talk about the importance of generating alternatives for the publication of academic papers developed by Latin-American researchers. He also made clear that RESI is available to the Latin-American academic community, explaining that the journal is capable of assessing IS academic papers written in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
