Abstract

In recent years, mobile devices have become very important in technology and the dissemination of information. Inside these mobile technologies, Android has an outstanding place by the number of users and developers it has, being the platform with the largest number of devices, today. But it is important to know the number of people and organizations who contribute to this dynamic mobile platform. This paper describes some characteristics with respect to the companies that contribute to the development of Android with their respective number of developers. This analysis was conducted using source code repositories freely available online.
